       JUBILEE HALL

The improvements to the Village Hall are still ongoing and may be for some time so don’t be alarmed if some of the walls are half one colour and half another, it is not permanent.  As the hall is so well used we have difficulty in finding time to get the painting done before the next booking.  However, at least the new part of the front of stage has been painted and rest assured the doors below will be the same colour eventually.
It was heart-warming to see so many people turn out on a Sunday in November to do some painting and repairing etc.  Even the children got involved washing walls and painting. People working at both ends of the hall and weatherproofing the rear doors. It was a hive of activity and a really good vibe. There will have to be another session soon so if you would like to get involved please get in touch.  The floor in the main hall is looking really nice, please take care of it. There is now a baby-changing unit in both disabled toilets.
We are pleased to welcome the Swan Project who are providing open access activities for the youth of our  village 4.45pm to 6.45pm every Thursday in term time in the Jubilee Hall.
We are still short of volunteers on the Village Hall Management Committee, could you help? Why not give it a try.  Meetings are bi-monthly, the next one Monday,    20 January 2020 in the Committee Room.  You will find
a warm welcome.
If you would like more information about helping to run your  village hall,  please contact Vicky (Secretary) on vling@hotmail.co.uk or Emma (Chairman) on
